“You say you want a revolution,
Well, you know, We all want to change the world.
You tell me that it’s the evolution, Well, you know, We all want to change the world.
But when you talk about destruction, Don’t you know that you can count me out.”
– ” Revolution” by The Beatles
People are angry. People are frustrated. People are afraid. People feel out of control. I am one of those people.
It wasn’t long ago that the world seemed full of Possibility and the promise of “Blue Sky” and the uplifting of the spirit from what could be achieved.
Somewhere along the line, we traded in Possibility for Options – the trade was done so seamlessly that we hardly noticed the difference.
Options are all the stuff that’s available to distract you and offer up a good amount of escape. And now even options are in limited supply, however, fear seems to be plentiful.
Disruption is always welcome, destruction is another story. There is Civil Unrest which will lead (and is leading), to Civil War. Nothing Civil about it.
It is a fight for Integrity over Dishonesty.A fight for Character over Greed.A fight for Contrition over Sanctimony.A fight for Collaboration over Credit.A fight for Inclusion over Separation.
But the fight is the same – it’s about Human Dignity.
